Gearbox-X

Gearbox-X is an app to build and store, share and use json recipes to setup and use web services trough their API.

It shall also work as a small stand alone recipe server/repository. Torrent could be an alternative for it. This server/repository could also be used to store and serve contracts set up trough recipes. So both a sender, receiver and relay

The core is mostly an Json exchange/server/relay Upon that, one should be able to install "plugins" extensions like the storage manager, a form builder, a test suit(little like postman), an contract signer that can verify signatures against key servers and bank credentials, a plugin that could interact with etherium smart contracts to lock in value as collateral or for escrow or just as a complex contract storage involving third parties as executioners, verifiers etc.

The main Idea is to be able to build up and reuse the effort of figuring out an services API to accomplish a set up of a combination/chain of services or functions and share that effort to provide fast and easy access to that set up of a workable systems constructed from many service providers with a quick form fill and a button push.

An example would be to set up a free cloudflare account to utilize both the free DNS and their service's free worker execution and cash together with an google drive setup as a program storage that then can be encrypted by rclone run on an free shell where one have the gearbox-X engine installed in user space. This way one could follow a guide to create the accounts, generate the API tokens, fill in an form with credentials, select some options and set up a working site or combined service without having to engage in and learn to navigate all different involved WebUIs, ev. looking at videos or reading documentations. This help would provide access the "free media revolution" possibility to far more people in poor countries that dont have neither the theqnical equipment, online access time or technical background we/others have, or at least not enough to manage this, even if the resources are free and available.

Many people that are not yet in the digital age have important perspectives that deserves to be taken in to account. Maybe just because of this. Like countryside people in poor and often locally corrupt countries.

Now there is a filter consisting of access, time and even basic understanding or brain structure, in place that should not need to be there.

Sure there are blog providers out there, but when you oppose some one that have far more power than yourself it feels really insecure to go main routs. as they could be blocked by intervention from the powers that was challenged to begin with and so get exhausted. An decentralised system to set up and chain digital resources and functions on the other hand can easily be recreated from a backup with just input of new credentials and are therefor much harder to take down.

Also recipes can easily be rebuild and tweaked to work for local conditions with locally used applications as more and more web services use open APIs.

I think my self on some poor lonely hunted half mad shaman from the vast plains of the unknown struggling to maintain the gates open in a world where centralisation of mind and conformity of communication model is al the more enforced.. A person that needs to defend a space of culture or mind that he or she see having potential.. On the run.

Maybe having access to an old cheap smart phone at times. Maybe an old computer. Maybe a friend with that resources.

To learn all technical base line to take advantage of all that exists take years and a total different structure of mind. Already the ugly and confusing interfaces.. better is just text, ev. pictures.. some registrations, a form and a button push.

I understand that this is ideal but in the end it is up to the creator of the recipe.

Some examples of it's use as a contract manager could be.. Yo might need to make a contract about something that is not intended to produce economic gain like something concerning child rearing philosophy, before engaging in making a child. In case of divorce or future conflict.

Maybe you and a partner want to engage in kinky sex and roleplay and want to secure the situation against future projections and trouble bu signing a contract around a protocol and involve a third part that could function as a person that help keeping the madness at bay. madness is a creative area and it is easy to get lost when you leave sanity.

Maybe you and a friend want to set up a complex contract involving many moving parts and to stabilize it want to sign and upload the contract to an official contract deposit for the possibility to legally prove intent and the conditions for engagement in an eventual conflict.

Maybe someone want to create a social contract to create an exiting space for a group to explore..

All such contracts would cost lot of money to set up.

With gearbox-X this could be done for free or for the cost of engaging a notari publicus or keeping a server payed in before hand by a smart contract overseen by a third party that only have to be engaged in case of a conflict or breach.

All this micro contract possibility could have the possibility to stabilize a more and more disconnected and fractionated world that leaves both the constraints and the stability of local social control. It would also encourage cooperation and possibility to engage in common efforts and so bring many of this benefits to people that can't afford expensive contract lawyers.

The program should be both cross platform and preferably stand alone.
